The annual Syd Phillips poetry competition will be held on 9 June 2021. As always, we'll meet at the Southport Community Centre.
The contest is held in honour of Syd Philips who was an accomplished Toastmaster for some 50 years, a poetry lover who could recite any poem by Banjo Paterson and a cherished member of our club until he passed away in 2014. He is sorely missed but we pay our tributes through the contest.
